ROOTS

Care for The Caregivers

ABOUT US & OUR MISSION
NGO4Roots is a volunteer-driven association committed to supporting professionals, missionaries, and volunteers working in crisis-affected areas among people who have experienced traumatic events. We see this work as nurturing the roots that sustain the tree — the very foundation from which faith can grow and bear good fruit. The “root work” of caring for others in deep crisis is often hidden, yet essential.

It is also demanding, and the psychological toll can be heavy. That’s why our mission is to build bridges between frontline helpers and those who have a heart for keeping them resilient and thriving. We aim to prevent burnout and promote well-being by offering restorative, strengthening care for all types of frontline workers — whether they are professionals, missionaries, or volunteers.

Our current focus includes:
  1. Providing a network for free therapeutic support
    — including online supervision and debriefing by trained volunteers.
  2. Offering funded retreats for frontline helpers
    — all donations go directly toward making these retreats possible.
